Beware of failed check of cashmere sweater

On January 9, AQSIQ notified the results of national supervision and spot checks on the quality of cashmere sweaters: of the 109 products spotted, 5 products did not meet the requirements of the relevant standards, involving the composition and content of fibers, and the resistance to dry friction. For items such as fastness and bursting strength, be careful when buying cashmere sweaters.

The spot checks involved 109 cashmere sweater products produced by 105 companies in 11 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Guangdong, Ningxia and Xinjiang. According to the "National Basic Safety Technical Specification for Textile Products" GB 18401-2010, "Flamen's Textile Content Identification" FZ/T 01053-2007, "Cashmere Knitwear" FZ/T 73009-2009 and the record of the current effective corporate standards and products Explicit quality requirements, fiber composition and content of cashmere sweater products, formaldehyde content, pH value, decomposable aromatic amine dyes, water fastness, acid fastness to perspiration, color fastness to alkali perspiration, color fastness to dry rubbing Ten items such as washing fastness and burst strength were tested.

Spot checks found that the first batch of “Golden Grass” round neck female cardigan (165/90 2011-04) of Inner Mongolia Jinshitaihua Cashmere Garments Co., Ltd. failed the top-breaking strength project. One batch of “purple medic” women's round neck loose-fitting shirt (100cm/110cm 2010-10/article number: Y81001) of Shanghai Ziyi Garment Co., Ltd. failed dry color fastness. (3 batches of product fiber components and content items were unqualified, including 1 batch of "Mondamil" clip-on men's V vest (110cm2011-08/part number: 7178), Qinghe County, Hebei Province, Beijing Mengdameer Cashmere Garments Co., Ltd.
